Paul Baribeau and Ginger Alford - Darkness On The Edge Of Your Town

This album wasn't on the schedule, but I just have to post this. I was making a mix cd for my dad and told him that "Born To Run" would be on it but a cover. So I showed him the song beforehand and was blasting it and my parents both being avid Bruce Springsteen fans hated it. According to my mom it sounds like some kids on a karaoke machine. According to my dad it sounds terrible and sounds nothing like Bruce and has no potential. According to my grandparents, "Anybody can sing these days, all they have to do is scream and it's like AAAAAHHH."

If you're under 40 and are a fan of Bruce Springsteen, this is probably the coolest album you will ever listen to. I am pretty sure I've got it covered.

you know, the 'older generation' should really know better by now

i managed to catch them all the way back in 2006 in the plan-it-x fest
and i think i had an aneurysm, there aren't many heroes anymore, but these guys came close...
