Chances are, if you're up to speed on Indie Hip Hop then you'll be aware of Mighty Joseph (Vast Aire & Karniege) and this frankly awesome release. If the name doesn't ring any bells because you've perhaps only dabbled with Indie Rap then you should at least be familiar with the standard setting release that was 'The Cold Vein' by one of this era's most pivotal rap duos... Cannibal Ox (Vast Aire & Vordul Mega) though, dont hold your breath for a direct sequel. This is more of your standard Hip Hop affair absent of any of EL-P's wildly titanic soundscapes with production duties spread out across a selection of producers including Madlib and the late Camu Tao. In short, i do really like this record... and i only downloaded it yesterday. enjoy folks.
