One of a handful of dance artists to survive the millennium, this is the third album from German Trance DJ Sash!. The album is best known for the track Adelante, yet there's a variety in the songs to appeal to everyone from the slow ambient sounds and voice of Tina Cousins to the funky upbeat tracks like My Kind of Blues. It's a good addition to any techno collection, and he was a popular artist for trance enthusiasts like myself for many years.

Birds of Tokyo are from my home town in Perth, Western Australia. An alternative rock band that is a combination of members from two more well known WA bands, Karnivool and Tragic Delicate, This is their debut album, Day one. It's an album that has grown on me much in the same way Gotye's Mixed Blood album did. It's laid back, simple and good for times when loud noise gives you a headache.
I'll confess and point this out before anyone else does: not every single one of these songs is absolutely essential. However, the majority aren't easy to find on this here internet, so at least they're serving some purpose. The .rar below contains the Pavement releases: Westing (by Musket And Sextant), Watery, Domestic EP and Major Leagues EP. Don't let the titles deceive you, there's 3 releases here, all by Pavement. The two EPs are rough yet tight collections of playfully performed songs creating the sound of a band having fun, despite the ML EP being created towards the arse-end of the band's career. Westing collates tracks from their earliest EPs, showing the band growing up and finding their sound. As is to be expected, they're not as cleanly produced as the LPs we all know and love but they're definitely worth a listen.
