Gogol Bordello- Multi Kontra Kulti - Vs. Irony

Pharoahe Monch - Internal Affairs
Scrubs fans may already be familiar with this artist when the song opportunity was played at the end of the episode My Identity Crisis in season 7. Pete Murray is based in Queensland, Australia. From a man who a man who only started playing guitar at the age of 22, he's gotten better over time. Nominated for several ARIAs and had three #1 albums, this is the third album, a bit of soft rock that deals mainly with love and relationships.Pete Murray - Summer at Eureka
Icon Of Coil - Serenity Is The Devil

Tilt- Viewers Like You

Gogol Bordello- "Gypsy Punks- Underdog World Strike"

Babyshambles - Down in Albion
Hailing from Westfield, Massachusetts, Sebadoh is a rock outfit that plays good low-fi indie rock. The music on this album is erratic, switching intensity in a heartbeat, such as the hard-rock"Crystal Gypsy" to the mellow "Willing to Wait". This isn't to say that the music doesn't all have a central theme. To the contrary, the music seems to have a core sound to it, one that is unique to this album itself. Certainly an album to check out if you're a fan of any type of rock.Sebadoh - Harmacy
Pivot are a 3 piece band from Sydney. This is their second album, and it's pretty hard form of music to describe, and many publications I've read on the genre of music seem to arrive at different conclusions. I suppose if anything it's a cross between post rock and a superb piece of electronica. To be honest, at the end of the day it doesn't really matter, because this is an awesome album that came out of nowhere for me and revealed some of the more underrated acts in Australia.Pivot - O Soundtrack My Heart

Dystopia - Human = Garbage
This is by far the most beautiful mind-bending work of Shpongle. Shpongle is a Psybient music project with two members: electronic musician Simon Posford, and 67-year-old flutist and psychedelic trance revolutionary Raja Ram (creator of 1200 Micrograms). This album offers hypnotic melodies, powerful indigenous chants, and beats you could dance to. I used to listen to this while I napped in the library before class, just to liven me up. In advance I'll tell you this is a continuous album, and in my own opinion the most fun occurs on tracks 2 through 5.Shpongle - Nothing Lasts... But Nothing is Lost

Kings of Leon - Aha Shake Heartbreak

The Terrordactyls - Hoppy Birthday
Very few albums can even touch this one. Low has always been known for their slow, sad songs, and Things We Lost is perhaps their most accessible one, and definitely the best one to start off with. The lead singer and female backup vocalist are just haunting with their voices. A few songs on here are so beautifully crafted they send shivers down my spine. Another thing to note is the slow, steady pace of the music. I believe the technical term for Low's genre is 'sadcore' or 'slowcore', but I just call it 'amazing'. This is an album that is truly an essential for any music lover. A++.Low - Things We Lost in the Fire

Billy Bragg- Back to Basics
The New Young Pony Club is based in London, England. I only heard this band at Splendor in the Grass on the weekend, but they got my attention. This is their debut album, a electronic piece with punk rock and pop influences. They are also signed up the the same record label as the previously reviewed Cut Copy and The Presets, Modular Records.New Young Pony Club - Fantastic Playroom

Girl Talk - Feed the Animals

Johnny Hobo and the Freight Trains - Caught in the Act of Not Being Awesome

Jonas Brothers - Jonas Brothers
