Combichrist - What The Fuck Is Wrong With You People?

Hey you, what the fuck is wrong with you? Those lines from the track 'What The Fuck Is Wrong With You' on the Combichrist album seem to epitomize this album, showing the pounding aggressiveness of the harsh electro-industrial sounds and the dark content of the album. After all, what would you expect from an album called What The Fuck Is Wrong With You People? Songs like 'Shut Up and Swallow' and 'Get Your Body Beat' betray the true sound of this masterfully crafted Harsh EBM album. Enjoy!

Office Space - OST

The perfect cure for your case of the Mondays. The perfect compilation of rap gold from Ice Cube, Scarface and Geto Boys mixed with a few relaxing trumpet jams from Perez Prado. This is the soundtrack that made the movie what it is. I suggest listening to the album and then watching this classic film.

Einstürzende Neubauten - Strategies Against Architecture, Vol. 1

Einstürzende Neubauten is one of the leading industrial artists out there. Strategies Against Architecture, Vol.1, is a compilation of their older works. A band that makes almost all of their own instruments, the music itself is very unique. Gritty, hard percussion and various dada-like instruments like drills and jackhammers make very driven and aggressive music. Anyone who has listen to the newer, much calmer EN may be surprised by this album, but it is still a masterpiece in its own right. All the songs are sung in German, so don't expect to sing along. Bands such as Tomahawk, The Locust, and The Blue Man Group cite Einstürzende Neubauten as an influence in their work. Enjoy!

Saul Williams - Amethyst Rock Star

Here's a quick one I meant to post a while back. Saul Williams is one of the most recognized slam poets in music today, and a lot of that is (I think) unjustly due to the controversial release method of his last album, The Inevitable Rise and Liberation of NiggyTardust! While it was far from bad, I feel like some of his best, most ambitious work is displayed on Amethyst Rock Star, his 2001 debut album. Catchy, thoughtful, heated, and cathartic - don't let it slip into the background; it ain't that kinda music.

Mind.In.A.Box - Crossroads

I found this Mind.In.A.Box album filed under Industrial, but I would have to disagree. The finely crafted electro that is Crossroads seems to escape definition. Some tracks seem focused at the dance floor, whilst others seem to try to reach a calmer, more introspective listener. Complex and fine tuned, this album will not disappoint.

Sons and Daughters - The Repulsion Box/This Gift

Two choice albums today, you lucky sons of bitches. Sons and Daughters are a Glasgow band (two of the members are formerly of Arab Strap) with a distinct knack for two things: making music that is infectious as hell, and being relentless. There isn't a soft moment on either 2005's The Repulsion Box or their latest release, This Gift, that doesn't get almost immediately blasted by either the power of David Gow's drumming, Adele Bethel's intense vocal delivery, or Scott Patterson's visceral (and occasionally folky) guitar work. With that said, I'd like to point out that This Gift is a bit more subtle than TRB, which I think adds a necessary nuance to their music that was somewhat lacking before. Both are fantastic, though, and I hope you like 'em as much as I do.

Decoded Feedback - Mechanical Horizon

I got this DF album a year or so back, and it has remained in rotation for me for a while now. It is a very good blend of electronic and industrial, and should appeal to fans of either. It is definitely a good listen, and fans of Skinny Puppy of Front Line Assembly should check it out.

Pavement - Westing/Watery, Domestic EP/Major Leagues EP

I'll confess and point this out before anyone else does: not every single one of these songs is absolutely essential. However, the majority aren't easy to find on this here internet, so at least they're serving some purpose. The .rar below contains the Pavement releases: Westing (by Musket And Sextant), Watery, Domestic EP and Major Leagues EP. Don't let the titles deceive you, there's 3 releases here, all by Pavement. The two EPs are rough yet tight collections of playfully performed songs creating the sound of a band having fun, despite the ML EP being created towards the arse-end of the band's career. Westing collates tracks from their earliest EPs, showing the band growing up and finding their sound. As is to be expected, they're not as cleanly produced as the LPs we all know and love but they're definitely worth a listen.

Brian Eno - Ambient 1: Music for Airports

"Music for Airports" is landmark in ambient music... hard to believe it's 30 years old this year. Maybe too minimalistic and repetitive for some, but there is beauty in its simplicity. There are three more albums in his "ambient" series, so obviously check them out if you like this one.

Exit Music - Songs With Radio Heads

Put simple, this is a compilation of 14 Radiohead tracks performed by 14 very credible musicians in their own respective genres, from Hip-Hop to Jazz...

To elaborate, it's ridiculously good.

stand out tracks include (though, are not limited to) Sia's haunting cover of Paranoid Android and The Cinematic Orchestra's instrumental rendition of Exit Music (For a Film).
