Guitar Wolf is a heavy noise producing garage band from Nagasaki, Japan. The trio uses shrieking vocals, heavy feedback and distortion techniques, and heavy influence from The Ramones and rockabilly in their work. The band's unique and energetic, yet ear throbbing sound is much higher quality than their previous work which was much more distorted. Dead Rock definitely pulls through as one of my favorite Guitar Wolf albums. Then again, I am still hoping to get my hands on their split with Lightning Bolt which I assume is nothing short of amazing.
