Math The Band - Math the Band Banned the Math

Math The Band is super electro fun using sampled casio sk1 drums paired with a hyper and sometimes random lyricist. Kevin sings about all the best things including dinosaurs, robots, and sharks(Happy shark week by the way!) and Justine plays keyboard and makes beats and such. This album will GET YOU PUMPED sounding much like and almost always compared to Atom and His Package yet mixed with Bomb The Music Industry. I listened to this album at two in the morning, and I physically had trouble sleeping afterwords. It is impossible not to dance to this band.

Goblin Cock - Come With Me If You Want To Live

Been a while since I've posted something, so I decided to up the last album I purchased.
When Goblin Cock released Bagged and Boarded, I didn't think they could follow up such a simplistic, faux-stoner masterpiece. When I heard Come With Me If You Want To Live, I was proven wrong. While Bagged and Boarded had a much more laid back feel to it, Come With Me If You Want To Live is more energized, adding more of the elements that made Goblin Cock's first release a masterpiece. There's Stoner Metal, 70's rock, and that classic Rob Crow sound that's undeniably awesome all mixed together into a worthy offering. If you've been lazy about downloading this album, now's the time to finally do it.

Captain Chaos/Johnny Hobo - Live at Bandit H.Q. Split

This is a request. What I learned from this album? Chris Clavin has a normal speaking voice and just decides to sing really high... what a relief! Well, that's about it because Johnny Hobo's albums are pretty much all live anyways. Anyways, you can make requests on our last.fm group just FYI. We have a last.fm group FYI, so you should probably join it and be a community or something.

Why? - Eskimo Snow

Well, this is gonna get taken down. If it goes down, comment on the side and I'll re-up it. Enjoy it! In this album Why? branches out off their hip-hop genre much more than their previous albums.

Abe Froman - Abe Froman

Abe Froman is one of my all-time favorite pop punk bands similar to Punkin Pie. Abe Froman is loud. Abe Froman is fast. Abe Froman is Erin and Matt Tobey and Ryan Batkie. Abe Froman is The Sausage King of Chicago?

Seriously, if you have any respect for yourself or your eardrums you'll get this album. It is simply astounding how much joy I get from it. I wish I had posted this earlier, but I thought I had already. In other news Ferris Bueller's Day Off was on tv today.

This Bike Is A Pipe Bomb - Front Seat Solidarity

This Bike Is A Pipe Bomb folk-punk band from Pensacola, Florida similar to Defiance, Ohio and Rosa. People have put their stickers on their bikes and have had legal troubles with people thinking that their bike is actually a pipe bomb. That's silly.

The Wombats - The Wombats Proudly Present..A Guide To Love, Loss and Desperation

The Wombats are a three piece band from Liverpool, England. I am a sucker for British accents and indie bands from the country, so it was no surprise that when one of my friends was listening to them in their car I clung onto it instantly. I had heard of them before, but I just started jamming out to them recently.

Star Fucking Hipsters - Until We're dead

Don't know much about this band, but it's a Leftöver Crack side project and I like them a lot. Especially the song "Immigrants and Hypocrites". I did an upper body workout to this album and I probably got like 500x more ripped because it got me so pumped.

Tree Sounds - Naps

Tree Sounds used to go by Molly Sunday but now she plays lo-fi ukulele under a new name. Since it's just one girl, it's a pretty simple sounding album, but nonetheless it's full of a lot of ukulele strumming, claps, and fun lyrics. The "band" name is kind of fitting, because it makes me want to go outside and go fishing and climb trees.

John Zorn - The Gift

John Zorn is an avant-garde jazz musician and former leader of the punk-jazz band Naked City. He's collaborated with pretty much every genre even including grindcore. He plays the sax mostly but he's multi-instrumentalist and although he is experimental and is all over the charts, he's incredibly talented and no matter what you listen to, you can find a collaboration album if not a solo album you'll like by him.
