Bed Stuy Meets Blue Eyes - Notorious B.I.G and Frank Sinatra

I would of never thought the combination of Biggie Smalls and Frank Sinatra would be a good one (I guess that is why I don't make music) . This album not only proves me wrong, it goes above and beyond. Bed Stuy Meets Blue Eyes is set apart from other similar albums because the author did not simply overlay Biggie's rhymes onto Frank Sinatra instrumentals. He created interesting, diverse songs that contain voice samples from both Frank and Biggie. Another plus is that all of the songs sound like they are of much higher quality than the orginal Notorious B.I.G and Frank Sinatra songs. This album is a must, even if you aren't into Biggie Smalls or Frank Sinatra, this is just good music.

Deltron 3030 - 3030

Deltron 3030 is the DJ/MC/Producer Hip Hop Supergroup of Kid Koala, Del tha Funkee Homosapien and Dan the Automator. Chances are you'll instantly recognise Del's voice as 'that guy from Gorillaz'... no surprise then that Automator was one half of the original Gorillaz project. Deltron 3030 is a true Hip Hop Epic in every sense. The lyrics are inventive and the music itself is mind-blowingly crafted though if you aint into the whole space rap thing... stay away. This is quite the concept album and one of my personal favourites of all time. Enjoy

Company Flow - Funcrusher Plus

if you dont already own this CD... I FUCKING HATE YOU. But i'm willing to let bygones be exactly that and give you a chance to have the CD that revolutionised rap in the late 90's and introduced us to underground hip-hop's current king... El-P (you can tell i'm like really obsessed with him, right?) this shit is raw lyricism with grimy filth for beats... nothing to dance to here, bub.

Illzilla - Wasteland

It's been way too long since my last post. To make up for it, I'm uploading two albums for today. The first is from the band Illzilla, an Australian hip-hop band form Melbourne. Their smooth flows and cool lyrics illustrate the fine talent of some of the more underrated acts in Australia.
