Angra - Temple of Shadows

Angra is a Power Metal band from Brazil. They play with a blend of Progressive Metal but the Power Metal elements are a lot stronger.
Temple of Shadows has a good mix of fast Heavy Metal and smooth acoustic songs too. A great listen, definitely one of the best Power Metal albums out there in my opinion (feel free to disagree).

Richard Cheese - Lounge Against the Machine

Richard Cheese or "Dick Cheese" as he makes his name sound out to be is a lounge singer that covers popular music in the laid back style to kick back to with a cigar and martini. I find him quite humorous to listen to and I happen to find lounge music hilarious in itself.

Frightened Rabbit - Midnight Organ Fight

Confirming the notion they created in 2006/2007 that this may be a fucking good band, the Scottish quartet Frightened Rabbit solidified this notion, with plenty of evidence to boot, on 2008's Midnight Organ Fight. Creating grandiose sounds a la Arcade Fire but with a more modest set-up and better songwriting, Frightened Rabbit always seem to whip out something that you'd never expect, yet at the same time that something sounds so right.

Nirvana/Jesus Lizard - Oh the Guilt/ Puss Split

Just a quick upload. As promised, here is Nirvana's split with The Jesus Lizard containing two tracks "Oh, The Guilt" and "Puss" respectively. This album helped increase Nirvana's indie cred while adding to The Jesus Lizard's mainstream audience.

Subtle- exitingARM

This one is fun. Head up to subtle6.com to read more in depth about it. I don't know exactly how to describe Subtle, so just download it. If you don't like it, you're stupid.

Galneryus - The Flag of Punishment

Time for a change for me and instead of uploading more Death Metal I'll upload this.

Galneryus is a Japanese Power Metal band. This is the first album they released, and it's a personal favourite of mine. They have a very melodic sound to them, and they play hard and fast aswell as playing some slower and more softer songs.

Struggle for the Freedom Flag, Requiem and Final Resolution stick out as the best songs on this album.

Scatman John - Everybody Jam!

My brother and I discovered this gem in a shitty, second rate music store. It's inspired me to go back to the 90's Dance/Techno scene for people to appreciate the classic techno songs that are still favored over many new millennium tracks today. Scatman John, a.k.a John Larkin was a jazz musician combing scat music with a combination of euro-dance to form a unique experience in music. There's not really much else to say that hasn't already been said about him, so I'll let his music do the rest.

RIP John Larkin.

Sorry I'm using rapidshare, but I've been busy lately. Next week's album will be better organized and back on megaupload.

The Jesus Lizard - Goat

The Jesus Lizard is a noise rock band created from the remnants of Scratch Acid. Although they never have achieved mainstream success, they were highly influential in the noise rock community and received heavy play on college radio stations. David Yow, the lead singer is known for being intoxicated on stage and removing clothing, sometimes being fully naked by the second or third song. The piercing guitar, pounding machine-like drums, and David Yow's intoxicated slur of vocals is what makes this band so great. Kurt Cobain was a fan of them and did a split, influencing the grunge community through noise rock. I'll probably up the split of Nirvana and Jesus Lizard sometime later along with all the other albums I promised(I'll get to them).

!!! - Myth Takes

!!! describes themselves as 'melodramatic pop music', and this by far their most experimental album to date. Myth Takes is a good mix of acoustic pop, experimental, and some electronics thrown in along with some jazz influence. A great, solid album. It is in stark contrast to the other albums I have uploaded, for this one is not even remotely industrial. Enjoy.

Ronald Jenkees - Derty

Hello youtubes! This master keyboardist and beat developer has created a fanbase like many other internet sensations around youtube. Along with being goofy and starting every video off with "Hello Youtubes!", his music is highly enjoyable and fun. Most of his youtube work is improv and he sometimes ends his videos by saying "I had a little bit too much fun there *Goofy laugh*". If anything, look at his youtube channel. If you don't even like his music, he's fun to watch with his speaking.
