Algernon Cadwallader - Hot Green 7"
I normally wouldn't post a 7 inch. I also wouldn't normally post the same band twice. I've been on an Algernon kick recently and I can't get off of it. It's kind of saddening that nothing else sounds good once you've heard their discography two times a day for a week. I posted Algernon Cadwallader's 2008 full length "Some Kind Of Cadwallader" a long time ago which expressed a very emo Cap'n Jazz feel to it. The band also features members of Halfway To Holland which is another band to check out!

Rosa - I Mississippi You
Rosa is a four piece folk punk band from Houston, Texas. They are the epitome of cute, folky, wonderful music. Acoustic guitar and snare + washtub bass + ping pong vocals + mandolin = love. I realized I posted at least five bands that "sound like" Rosa and have not posted them yet.

We Were Promised Jetpacks - These Four Walls
I'll admit, I am a sucker for Scottish accents when it comes to music. Something about the tone and annunciation just seems to tickle my fancy. WWPJ is one of those bands that takes you on a journey of dynamics. A solid band all around, and one that deserves recognition. I know you guys will like this band, so sit back and enjoy. Noteworthy song are Quiet Little Voice and It's Thunder and Lighting.

Phillip Roebuck - One Man Band
Another "band" outside my normal realm of up and coming artists. This is Phillip Roebuck, and he truly is the image of a one man band. Phillip has mastered the Harmonica, Banjo, and Drugs, and plays them simultaneously. What stands out most to me is the passion in his music, which is something you don't get out of most bands today. The album is a little outdated [2004], but he has yet to break out. Expect a blues/country artist, because we're going back to our roots. All I can say is you're gonna have to trust me on this guy. Honestly, have I lead you wrong before?
Also, post a comment! I love hearing from you guys. Suggestions/rants/raves, give it to me. The more feedback I get gives me more motivation to post. I'm here for you guys, so let me know how I'm doing!
Link will be in the comment.

Dananananaykroyd - Hey Everyone
Danananannanananananananananaykroyd is what you would call a Fight-pop band from Glasgow, Scotland. I will admit, they are a little outside my norm, but they will not let you down. For those who liked Los Campesinos!, this band is right along that, but with the bonus of a better vocal team. So get ready for another amped up chair dance session.

Jack Peñate - Everything is New
I'm sure you all have missed me. After months of hiatus, I have finally had a moment of inspiration and ambition to give you a moment of happiness through the form of song. What we have today is Jack Penate (With an accent over the "n"). Hailing from London, Jack is quite the performer, keeping his British accent intact throughout the album, which I find quite addicting. As always, instead of posting the album in my post and having it immediate removed, I'll post it in my comment for all you loyal fans. Happy Listening.

Die, Emperor! Die! - Demo
Die, Emperor! Die! is a screamo band formed by two teenagers active from 2003-2005. The members Kirk and Brad have played in some of my favorite bands like Punkin Pie and Rosa which are not screamo. I have a very particular taste in screamo so if you like stuff I posted before, you'll probably like this. Actually, listen to this and Punkin Pie, and Rosa because all of them are amazing. I also think this band wins an award for having an awesome name and using punctuation. Yet again, sorry for lack of posts because I've been at college being busy with work and stuff. Thanks for continued support!

Tom Gabel - Heart Burns
This is the solo album from the front-man of the ever so wonderful band Against Me! This is almost like when Chuck Ragan had a solo album. College has taken a lot out of me, I'm gonna get back on track soon I hope.

The Orphans - Raise The Youth
I don't know how well known this is but before Mischief Brew, Erik Petersen was in a straight up punk band with sort of a folk influence. It was fast played, loud, and involved a lot of yelling. This is that band.

Times New Viking - Rip It Off
Times New Viking is a noisy noise rock band that you'll like if you enjoyed Lovvers or Wavves or any band with an excessive amount of "v"s in their name. I like them a lot.
